What is even more disturbing is this: leading newspapers in the West have chosen not to challenge der Leyen’s false narrative. Unlike them, this newspaper has chosen to bury this European myth once and for all. The desert of Palestine bloomed long before the Europeans settled the genocidal Zionists in the holy land.

NST Leader: Israel’s barbarism on New Straits Times

On Friday, barbarism was on full display when the Zionist regime bombarded Gaza without any provocation. On Saturday, The Guardian quoted health authorities in Gaza as saying that 24 Palestinians, adults and children, were killed in the unprovoked attack, including a 5-year-old girl. What is troubling is that Israel is proudly announcing to the world that it has set aside a week to turn the Gaza Strip into a killing field. Today is only day four. The last time the Zionist regime went on a genocidal rampage there was in May last year when it killed 256 Palestinians, 66 of them children. The blitz lasted 11 days.

The US can begin by not supplying weapons to Tel Aviv. Israel, being the only nuclear-armed state in the Middle East, is already the most militarised in the region. Besides, the Zionist regime is using American weapons to commit genocide against the Palestinians. The US knows complicity is a crime, but yet it persists. Next, the US must condition its US$3 billion annual aid on Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.

Israel’s drums of war on New Straits Times

There is no statute of limitation against crimes in municipal or international law. A special tribunal can always be set up. If the Nuremberg tribunal for the Holocaust was possible, tribunal trials are also possible for allegations of genocide committed by the Israelis against Palestinians.

Prospects do not bode well by Askiah Adam

THERE are two schools of thought as to the fate of the newly revealed proposed settlement to the protracted Palestine problem. One espoused by Scott Ritter, former United Nations weapons of mass destruction inspector, that Palestinians cannot refuse and the other that it must be rejected, not least because of its total disregard of justice for the Palestinians and their dignity… If, as Ritter suggests, this is the chance of a lifetime for the reinstatement of Palestine and its economic development, how can the Palestinians refuse this deal when a refusal means the perpetuation of poverty and their ultimate genocide?
