Graphic images taken from Shujaya in the shelling’s immediate aftermath featured images of women’s and children’s bodies scattered around the neighborhood’s streets, ostensibly killed while trying to escape indiscriminate strikes.
“No words can describe what Shujaya has gone through,” a paramedic said as he searched for missing bodies in the rubble.
“Massacre,” a nearby resident interjected.
“We’re facing genocide,” the paramedic went on to say.

Sky News: Israel Minister Accuses Hamas Of ‘Self-Genocide’

The Israeli economic minister said: “The only difference between us and Hamas in Gaza is that they are deliberately sending their women and children to stand next to missile launchers in order for them to get killed, and then they cry to the world that they are being killed. This is cynical and cowardly. Israel has all the right to defend itself… They started this, they are continuing this, this can all go away the moment they disarm themselves and stop shooting us. Hamas is placing missiles in homes, in living rooms, in schools, in children’s rooms, this is their modus operandi… If Hamas was shooting missiles at your home, from within a school, what would you do? Would you just wait for those missiles to kill you? We fight back. Sometimes yes in wars there is collateral damage, but I’m not going to ask forgiveness for defending my four children that had rockets shot at home this very morning. What Hamas is doing is effectively self-genocide.”

Venezuela condemns Israeli ‘genocide’ and ‘extermination’

President Nicolas Maduro has maintained the foreign policy of his firebrand predecessor Hugo Chavez, who was popular in the Arab world and broke relations with Israel after accusing it of “holocaust” for its 2009 offensive in Gaza. Israel’s latest attacks have “initiated a higher phase of its policy of genocide and extermination with the ground invasion of Palestinian territory, killing innocent men, women, girls and boys,” a Venezuelan government statement said…

Venezuela called for the United Nations‘ human rights body to meet and condemn Israel. “Venezuela also rejects the cynical campaigns trying to condemn both parties equally, when it is clear you cannot morally compare occupied and massacred Palestine with the occupying state, Israel, which also possesses military superiority and acts on the margins of international law.”

Israel Never Surprises Me by Amer Zahr

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

I am not surprised to see Israelis sitting on hills in a city near Gaza, watching the Israeli missiles fall.  One onlooker called it “just good fun.”  Others were eating popcorn, which is not surprising.  If you’re sick enough to be entertained by watching hi-tech missiles fall on an open-air prison in one of the most densely populated places on the planet, it doesn’t really shock me if you bring along some snacks to pass the time.

… I am not surprised when Ayelet Shaked advocates calling Palestinians “little snakes.”  Oh, she also advocated the destruction of “elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.” Oh, she is also a member of the Israeli Knesset.  Oh, she is also a member of the ruling coalition of Netanyahu’s government.  Oh, and the prime minister had nothing to say about her call to genocide.  Oh, and her Facebook post calling for all of these things got over 5,100 likes.  If a society is sick enough to elect and promote a fascist into the highest levels of political office, it doesn’t really shock me when her murderous rants are met with nothing.

… Being a form of entertaining target practice for a society that wants us exterminated anyway is nothing new.  We’re used to it. Don’t feel bad for us.  It’s normal.

Bolivia rejects Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people

Bolivian Foreign Ministry also calls on the international community to intervene to stop “the genocide” and stressed that “should respect and comply with international agreements and treaties.” The Foreign Ministry also expressed concern about the operation called “[Protective] Edge” that has killed more than 80 Palestinian civilians, including children, adolescents and women, and injured more than 500.

“We urge you to investigate and punish the crimes committed by Israel in this region, in the framework of international law, human rights and international humanitarian law,” the statement said.

Bolivia joins the call of the people of Alba, who strongly condemned the cruelty against the Palestinian people, as a human slaughter has described President Mahmoud Abbas. Venezuela recently criticized Israel for bombing Gaza… and asked the mediation of international organizations.
