“Israel could end up like Nazi Germany”, Yair Golan on Middle East Monitor

In an interview with Radio Darom, the newly elected member of the Knesset, representing the Democratic Union alliance, said: “I’m reminding people that the Nazis came to power democratically, so we have to be careful, very careful, so that extremist figures with a messianic view won’t exploit Israeli democracy to replace the system of government.”
This is not the first time Golan has likened Israeli policies to those of the Nazis, in May 2016 during a speech to mark Holocaust Day, he claimed “’the horrific processes which developed in Europe” and led to the Nazi genocide were present in Israel today.

According to the concepts of Smotrich, Zohar and Shaked, a Jew from Brooklyn who has never set foot in this country is the legitimate owner of this land, while a Palestinian whose family has lived here for generations is a stranger, living here only by the grace of the Jews. “A Palestinian,” Zohar tells Hecht, “has no right to national self-determination since he doesn’t own the land in this country. Out of decency I want him here as a resident, since he was born here and lives here – I won’t tell him to leave. I’m sorry to say this but they have one major disadvantage – they weren’t born as Jews.”
From this one may assume that even if they all converted, grew side-curls and studied Torah, it would not help. This is the situation with regard to Sudanese and Eritrean asylum seekers and their children, who are Israeli for all intents and purposes. This is how it was with the Nazis. Later comes apartheid, which could apply under certain circumstances to Arabs who are citizens of Israel. Most Israelis don’t seem worried.

Venezuela UN envoy asks if Israel seeks ‘final solution’ against Palestinians on i24news

Venezuela’s UN Ambassador Rafael Ramirez inquired whether Israel sought a “final solution” against the Palestinians, referencing the Nazi’s policy of systematically eliminating Jews, during his speech at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Friday. While condemning Israel for “unlawful settlements,” and “ongoing violence” against the Palestinians, the Jerusalem Post reports, Ramirez asked Security Council members: “What does Israel plans do to with the Palestinians? Will they disappear? Does Israel seek probably to wage a final solution? The sort of solution that was perpetrated against the Jews?”

Thousands of Israelis fill Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square in support for soldier who executed Palestinian by Dan Cohen

Last night more than 5,000 Israelis gathered in Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square in a massive outpouring of support for Elor Azarya, the Israeli soldier and French citizen who was recently indicted on manslaughter charges for executing a wounded, immobile Palestinian man on March 24 in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.

… Among the sea of flags and signs, one read “My honor is loyalty” – the motto of the Nazi SS. Last night was the latest example of the genocidal current running through Israeli society, one that has support from the grassroots to the parliament.

Also in attendance were members of El Yahud, a loose network of Jewish supremacist thugs who organize mob violence against Palestinians and anyone they deem “leftists” that sprouted during the last assault on Gaza – a group journalist David Sheen compared to the Ku Klux Klan.

One protester called Moshe Ya’alon “a fucking leftist Kibbutznik” and “Judenrat.” He then called human rights organization B’tselem “fucking mercenaries” paid by Europe that should be tried and executed by the state for treason. “Like the Nuremburg process,” he said before adding,“It’s Brussels, not Tel Aviv.”

Arab Israeli MK says Israelis remain silent while Palestinians oppressed, just like Germans under Nazis on i24NEWS

“During Kristallnacht thousands of Jewish businesses and synagogues were burned, while the Germans remained silent. Today, as the homes of Palestinians are burned, as churches and people are burned alive – the majority in Israel remains silent,” she said, drawing a comparison between Nazi Germany and and the current situation in Israel and the West Bank… “The central lesson of the Crystal Night has not been learned,” said Zoabi. Accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” modeled on Nazism, she denounced half a dozen Israeli officials by name for what she referred to as recent efforts to “justify the use of violence toward Palestinians.”

It is almost beyond belief that such a clearly asymmetrical scenario can be recast into a ‘conflict’ – it is not a conflict. It is an illegal military occupation of one people over another, it is a racial Apartheid, it is a slowly unfolding genocide. It must end.
