During the Nakbeh, Zionist extremists took control of 774 Palestinian villages and cities, 531 of which were destroyed. The inhabitants of the villages and cities were subject to massacres. The Israeli atrocities still continue today, the latest of which being the Gaza massacre which took place a few days ago.
Around 176 settlements were erected throughout the Palestinian West Bank, which was occupied in 1967, with the aim of erasing Palestinian history, Secretary-General of the Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs, Abdullah Kanaan said. “In the face of this tragedy and barbaric genocide, Israel continues its plan to complete its scheme of the Nakbeh by replacing the term Nakbeh with ”independence and establishment”, Kanaan added.
