Jewish MP, Siamak Moresadeq, deplores Gaza situation as genocide, organized crimes

Tehran, Aug 11, IRNA – Representative of the Jewish Community at the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Siamak Moresadeq on Monday decried the ongoing situation in Gaza Strip as organized crime and genocide against a nation and its campaign to achieve freedom and self-determination.

… He called on academic circles inside and outside Iran to ˈform a campaign calling for expelling the Zionist regime from the United Nations and other international bodies.ˈ Moresadeq criticized performance of the United Nations secretary-general in reaction to the human tragedy underway in Gaza since July 8 and said that it seemed that the UN was ˈformed to cover up crimes of the Zionist regime.ˈ

Israel and the “G” Word: Gaza Genocide And Arab Fratricide by Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich

Lets not mince words. Israelis are committing genocide in Gaza. But the United Nations is loath to use the “G” word and it us using the “C” (condemn) word instead. Why?  Money talks. The top financier of the United Nations is America with a whopping 22.00% in direct funds (followed by Japan 10.83%, Germany 7.14%, France 5.59%, and GB 5.18%),  if the United Nations called out the genocide in Gaza, its top financier would have to be punished for its complicity.

According to Article 3 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, persons committing genocide or complicity in genocide shall be punished “whether they are constitutionally responsible rulers, public officials or private individuals.”  The United States not only supports and funds the ongoing genocide in Gaza, replenishes Israel with more funds and weaponry, but it also uses its political clout to enable Israel to continue its ruthless crimes against humanity…

The American government is not alone in its complicity in genocide or in its incitement.   Mainstream media networks and commentators who paint a picture of an Israel “self-defense” to give room to the continued genocide are complicit and must be punished.  But in the opinion of this writer, the vilest partners in this crime are the Egyptian and Saudi leaders committing fratricide.

Egypt’s military coup leader and the illegitimate president of Egypt, al-Sisi, whom the Israel ambassador called a ‘hero for all Jews’ , has trapped the Gazans so that Israel can eliminate them all. Genocide will prove to be lucrative business for the Egyptians…

Gaza: Genocide Made in the USA and our responsibilities to defend (Sara Flounders at Workers World Party assembly)

“We don’t know how long this attack is going to go. How long it could possibly go. We know with pain the comparisons to the Warsaw ghetto. We know what the Nazis did to the Warsaw ghetto. And everyone here who has seen any of the videos of the attacks on schools, the attacks on a playground, kids on swings, 4 young boys playing soccer on a beach. These aren’t military targets. But maybe the worst target was the bombing of the power station. Gaza’s flat and sandy and when you knock out the power, then the ability of even pumping water for sanitation, for sewage. That is beyond criminal. That is genocide.”

This is Genocide – On Israel/Palestine by Alyssa Röhricht

To call what is going on in Israel and Palestine a “conflict” is to partake in the racist and blatantly false narrative that is being pushed by Israel. When one side fights with stones and homemade rockets, and the other side fights with a military backed by the full force of the United States military industrial complex, it is not a “conflict.” When civilian casualties – including hundreds of children – amass on only one side, it is not a “conflict.” When one side sets up with lawn chairs and popcorn to watch and cheer as their government bombs another country, it is not a “conflict.” When one side is not able to decide where they travel, does not control their own water supply, and are literally walled into an area, it is not a “conflict.” Israel is mowing the grass – killing citizens with impunity. This is apartheid. This is genocide. These are war crimes. Plain and simple.

Article about Genocide and Israel: More voices describe Gaza slaughter as a ‘genocide’

A growing chorus of voices internationally is describing the Gaza slaughter as a genocide. Here are some of those voices and lastly, a definition of the term from a leading human rights lawyer, who says that genocide entails two things, 1, the intent to destroy a people in whole or part, and 2, acts of genocide, killing members of that group or inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction, in whole or part, of the people you’re trying to destroy…

The crimes are staggering, the destruction massive. Israel is creating a 3-kilometer strip of scorched earth around Gaza City that eats up about 44 percent of the Gaza Strip, already the most densely populated place on earth. (U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs)… The war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza today are the latest stage of an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Indigenous people of this land.

Convoys of youths and community members departed from several community centres at the Burj Shemali and Rashidieh refugee camps, near Tyre (Sur) in Southern Lebanon, to a local beach. Upon arrival, a Palestinian student band played various national songs as students tied nametags for the dead to red, black, white, and green balloons.
The community members held signs calling on the world to stop Israel’s mass slaughter in Gaza and emphasising the genocidal nature of the Israeli offensive. They also proudly embraced their right to resist the Israeli occupation, as well as their legal right to return to Palestine.

Dozens of Spanish film stars, directors, musicians and writers, led by Oscar winners Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Pedro Almodovar, have denounced Israel’s incursion into Gaza.

In an open letter referenced by Europa Press and other Spanish media, they described Israel’s actions as “genocide.”

They also called on the European Union to “condemn the bombing by land, sea and air against the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip…”

Lisa Gay Hamilton Speaks Up For Palestinians At Los Angeles Protest

“The Israelis keep taking and taking and taking. Their objective is to annihilate the Palestinian people… These are international […] violations, right? It’s genocide. People [in Hollywood] are very much afraid of the possibility of it looking bad. Look at Alicia Keys. They begged Alicia Keys… “Do not go perform in Israel. Do you understand what’s happening?”… She sang! She said she’s for “love and peace…” So that’s the mentality we’re dealing with and I’m sure her manager said “honey don’t go there.”
