A blue, bullet proof PRESS vest and a sniper-shot to the head, just below the helmet line: this is the anatomy of a genocide.
A funeral for a nationally beloved journalist murdered by a colonial regime that is overrun by Zionist occupation forces who beat pallbearers and nearly overturn the coffin completely: this is the anatomy of a genocide.
International inaction at a fascist colonial ethno-state that slaughters Indigenous people at will, at random, and for nothing more or less than the “crime” of existing: this is the anatomy of a genocide.
Contrasting the vivacity of those taking to the streets with the dead-end of capitalist social media, Samidoun and Nai’s songs were censored by Youtube. But despite everything, a century of cultural genocide had failed to erase and silence the people.

The Zionist insistence that Israel is the universal embodiment of a Jewish desire for political power leaves Jews around the world on the hook for the violence inflicted upon the Palestinian people; if anything, this position is antisemitic. It is essential to understand that downplaying genocide as Zionists do is an effectually denialist position. In a few words: The University is denying genocide.
Understanding that both the U.S. and Israel are white-supremacist, settler-colonial projects, whose founding were predicated on genocide and stealing land, explains why both rely on exploitation, violence, subjugation and mass incarceration to keep their project going. Gaza is the world’s largest open-air prison.

Community organizers supporting Palestine and its allies gathered at the intersection of North 56th Street and Fowler Avenue. The Resistance of Tampa Bay group states its mission was to raise awareness and protest “the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.”
This article contends that Israeli policies that were enacted after the introduction of the siege in Gaza amount to slow-motion genocide. The United Nations has repeatedly warned of the serious implications of the Israeli siege and asserted that Gaza could soon be uninhabitable [Miriam Berger, ‘The U.N. Once Predicted Gaza Would Be “Uninhabitable” by 2020. Two Million People Still Live There’, Washington Post, January 2, 2020, https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/01/01/un-predicted-gaza-would-be-uninhabitable-by-heres-what-that-actually-means/]. The present study adopts a sociological perspective and argues that genocide should be understood as a social practice rather than physical annihilation or merely mass killing of a group of people. It also situates the siege within a larger settler-colonial framework and emphasises the processual nature of the Nakba. Drawing on data collected through semi-structured interviews with Palestinian students as well as human rights reports, and historical and sociological materials, this article elaborates on how Israel commits a slow-motion genocide against defenceless populations in the Gaza Strip.

The currently flawed state even allows a non-veto-wielding client state to get away unscathed with its horrible records of war crimes as long as it has a patron or sponsor who can use its veto power to protect it. Not surprisingly, in May 2021, the USA blocked any resolution to be passed in the UNSC against the apartheid state of Israel for its war crimes in the Gaza. (Despite its genocidal crimes against the native Palestinians, the Biden Administration continues to grant nearly four billion dollars annually to the apartheid state.)
