On 4 September Scotland’s national football team will once again play against Israel at Hampden Park stadium in clear breach of the Palestinian call for Boycott.
“Israel attacks and denies Palestinians right to play football and represent their country internationally so we will not let them play in peace!
Let’s show the world that we stand with the Palestinian people against the land theft, dispossession and genocide which they face at the hands of the racist state of Israel and its imperialist backers.

Black Lives Matter and lessons from Palestine by Yoav Litvin

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

The Zionist “left” is an integral part of the oppressive Zionist propaganda apparatus, whether those involved in the endeavour are aware of it or not. The supposed left, “liberal” wing of Zionism, comprising Israeli political parties, non-profit organisations and media organs in Israel and outside it, serves to promote Zionist propaganda, which renders occupation, apartheid and the genocide of the Indigenous Palestinian people palatable to audiences in Israel and worldwide.

Clarification From Black Members Concerning Support Of BDS by DePaul Socialists

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

Defunding the police is integral to the greater goal to end imperialism. We say this because we are anti-capitalist and we understand that imperialism is a tool of capital that has been used to enslave our ancestors just as it is now used to cut down the lives of Palestinians. Today, Chicago police are trained by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) which is leading the occupation and genocide of Palestinians. During Ferguson and every other BLM protest following, Palestinian activists reached out to black protesters and offered solidarity and support. Through this solidarity, it became clear that Black and Palestinian struggles are deeply intertwined

Ending the ongoing Palestinian Nakba #KeyToJustice by the Palestinian BDS National Committee

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

Israel and the Zionist movement had hoped that Palestinians would one day “forget,” but by perpetrating every imaginable crime against us, they inadvertently made sure that we never do. The siege and what Israeli historian Ilan Pappe calls the “incremental genocide” of two million in the Gaza ghetto; the ceaseless theft of our lands and forcible displacement of our communities, particularly in Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley and the Naqab (Negev); the endless colonial settlements; and the overarching apartheid system that relentlessly reminds us that we, the indigenous people of the land, can only achieve freedom, justice or equality after ending this ruthless Israeli regime of oppression.

Leonard Cohen and the Concert That Never Was on The MIT Press Reader

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

For me, somebody who in 2009 had already been a signatory of the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) for three years, and had been critical of Zionism as an ideology that purports to speak for world Jewry and as an ideal to which we are supposed to adhere, the Zionist ideology of people like Sharon was something that I had long ago divested myself from. So, seeing my newfound idol sitting next to Sharon, who is like the symbol of everything that has gone wrong (in terms of Jewish nationalism, the displacement of people, and the genocide being waged against the Palestinian people), on the receiving end of Cohen’s art put me into a state of panic.

Solidarity between Palestinians and Indigenous Activists has Deep Roots by Marion Kawas

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

The BDS National Committee (BNC) released a powerful statement at the same time as diaspora Palestinians in Vancouver sent greetings to the daily #WetsuwetenStrong protest in that city. Both emphasized the brave and tireless resistance of the indigenous defenders, with the BNC noting that Palestinians owe them “a great debt for teaching us how to resist settler colonialism generation after generation through your powerful resistance, grace and indomitable spirit”.

But these strong expressions of Palestinian support are not new and have a long and rich history.

… In 2012, there was a strong statement of support from Palestinians with the IdleNoMore movement and indigenous rights. Multiple organizations and individuals signed on to show the depth of support and understanding between the two struggles. They said in part:

“We recognize the deep connections and similarities between the experiences of our peoples – settler colonialism, destruction and exploitation of our land and resources, denial of our identity and rights, genocide and attempted genocide.”
