The U.S. Is Complicit in Slow-Motion Genocide in Palestine by Daniel Kovalik

Of course, while few in this country are willing to say it, this destruction of the very social fabric of Gaza is according to plan.  Israel is intent on the destruction of the Palestinian people, and it is engaged in a slow, patient, but systematic genocide.

Given that the U.S. props up Israel with billions of dollars of annual military support, the U.S. too is responsible for this slow-motion genocide. And the citizens of the U.S. can no longer be silent as our tax dollars go to support this unspeakable crime. The plight of the Palestinian people cries out for justice – a justice which we must give them.

The post-Holocaust vow that genocide would never again be tolerated has long been hollow. The Palestinian people are living proof that murder looks on its victims with a casual eye. The extraordinary and soul-crushing pain that the Palestinian people have endured, for nearly seventy years now, has been perceived as just and mutable.

The Nakba did not penetrate the world consciousness in the same manner as the Holocaust. Slaughtering people, village by village, didn’t seem too high a price to pay, nor did it appear inhumane. These origins contain the historical seeds of genocide. The silence absorbed the lack of noise with a lack of sound so potent that it blackened this world with something so much richer than Zionist hate. Since Deir Yassin, we’ve known what man is capable of: the silence acquiescence in genocide of another people.

Netanyahu and Lieberman – A deadly scenario by Miko Peled

According to the definitions provided in article II of the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Israel has been engaged in genocide of the people of Palestine for close to seven decades.  According to article III of the Convention the United States government, by being an accomplice to the crime of genocide should be punished as well. How long will it be and what will it take before the world demands a stop to the flow of unlimited money and weapons into the hands of Netanyahu and Lieberman?
