“I urge you to conduct an immediate enquiry concerning those possible war crimes- genocide, apartheid, colonialisation- commited by the State of Israel and to publish results.”

7 July 2015

Dear UN Office of the Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide,

herewith I urge you to urgently conduct an enquiry as to the possibility that Israel is committing the Crime of Genocide and crimes against humanity (apartheid, colonialisation).
Furthermore I urge you to publish results of this enquiry and recommendations with the aim to prevent present and future war crimes and genocide commited by the State of Israel.

Direct and public incitement to genocide by Israeli political, religious and parliamentary leaders have been well documented.

The former UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the OPT, Prof. Richard Falk, separate Arab League- and UN-led investigations into Israel’s 2008/9 war on Gaza, and the 2014 Russell Tribunal on Palestine special session on Israeli violations of international law in Gaza and elsewhere in the OPT, have confirmed that Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity have been perpetrated with impunity.

Therefore I am urging you to investigate if Israeli official representatives are responsible for the crime of genocide, including the crime of incitement to genocide.
The aim should be to prevent the risk of a future Israeli genocide against (all or parts of) the Palestinian people.

Israel has been founded due to compassion with the Jewish people and their relatives, having experienced terrible crimes against them during 2nd world war. Unfortunately, the government of Israel seems not to respect the victims of these war crimes commited against Jewish people, since they are since 1948 conducting a regime of colonialism, apartheid and occupation against the palestinian civil population, including ethnic cleansing and mass killing of civilians.

The crime of genocide, the crime of apartheid and colonialism are internationally prohibited.

This leads to legal responsibilities of all democratic states and international organizations, such as the United Nations: Israeli apartheid and colonialism should be suppressed and responsible individuals have to be brought to justice.
Full reparation should be guaranteed for the Palestinian victims.

Equivocal statements made by UN officials in relation to the issue of possible genocide in 2014 have confused many people.
Making equivocal statements is harmful and damaging, and I would like to propose that an apology for such statements is in order as soon as possible.
This concerns especially the statement made by the UN office on the 24th of July 2014. At this time, Israel had already massacred 697 Palestinians in Gaza, of whom at least 170 were children.
It is incomprehensible when the israeli mass destruction is compared with the comparably meagre damage inflicted by the resistance of the victims of what I would call a genocide, especially, when the incomprehensible numbers of the dead, and the staggering destruction to civilian infrastructure to the besieged Gaza strip, which the UN itself has described as “uninhabitable” even before Israel’s latest onslaught, has been fully recognized by the UN.

Therefore I urge you to conduct an immediate enquiry concerning those possible war crimes (genocide, apartheid, colonialisation) commited by the State of Israel and to publish results.
I would very much welcome the rectifying of possible equivocal statements, since they cause damage and harm.

Yours sincerely,

“Today, I read a letter from Ariel Sharon’s son : “We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza… The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima”.”

2 February, 2015

To the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide,

I read a letter this summer written by Ayelet Shaked, lawmaker in Israel :
“They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there. “

Today, I read a letter from Ariel Sharon’s son : “We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza… The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima”.

This must stop. This is a genocide.

Please stop them, Israel was created in 1948 by compassion, but themselves have no compassion. They want only the territory !

I invite Israel genocide to add my letter to its website.

20 January 2015

Dear UN Office of the Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide,

I urge you to urgently conduct an enquiry as to the possibility that Israel is committing the Crime of Genocide. After conducting the enquiry, I urge you to please publish its findings and recommendations for preventing present, and/or gradual, and/or future genocide by Israel.

In light of earlier and alarming findings of independent experts, in particular since Israel’s hermetic siege and separation of the occupied Gaza Strip in 2007 and the consecutive waves of mass killings of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, this investigation, which should be the responsibility of UN personnel, is important and timely.

The former UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the OPT, Prof. Richard Falk, separate Arab League- and UN-led investigations into Israel’s 2008/9 war on Gaza, and the 2014 Russell Tribunal on Palestine special session on Israeli violations of international law in Gaza and elsewhere in the OPT, have all confirmed that Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity have been perpetrated with impunity and, furthermore, that direct and public incitement to genocide by Israeli political, religious and parliamentary leaders have been well documented. Therefore, the UN Office of the Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide should investigate if Israeli officials are responsible for the crime of genocide, including the crime of incitement to genocide, and to assess and prevent the risk of a future Israeli genocide against (all or parts of) the Palestinian people.

Israel should be held accountable for its regime of colonialism, apartheid and occupation, including the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in this context against Palestinians since 1948, such as ethnic cleansing and mass killing of civilians. The urgent need to hold Israel accountable is strongly supported by factual evidence as well as international law. Like the crime of genocide, colonialism and the crime of apartheid are internationally prohibited. They also result in similar legal responsibilities: all states and international organizations, such as the United Nations, are to isolate and suppress Israeli apartheid and colonialism, bring responsible individuals to justice, and ensure full reparation for the Palestinian victims.

In addition, I am extremely disturbed by equivocal statements made by UN agencies in relation to the issue of possible genocide in 2014, in a situation which was almost as far from equivocal as it could possibly be. I urge you to investigate and consider that making equivocal statements is harmful and damaging, and I propose that an apology for such statements is in order immediately. In addition, a specific policy against making equivocal statements in such situations should definitely be instituted immediately. The following paragraph clarifies the problem of the equivocal statements:

On the 24th of July 2014, when Israel had already massacred 697 Palestinians in Gaza, of whom at least 170 are children, Adama Dieng and Jennifer Welsh of the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide published a statement*, which I find very troubling, especially when coming from the highest authority on the subject of the Crime of Genocide. While acknowledging the incomprehensible numbers of the dead, and the staggering destruction to civilian infrastructure to the besieged Gaza strip, which the UN itself has described as “uninhabitable” even before Israel’s latest onslaught, The Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide saw fit to equate the comparably meagre damage inflicted by the resistance of the victims of what very may well be genocide, to that of the perpetrators of this possible genocide, as they execute massacres alongside a campaign of mass destruction.

Therefore, please take all steps to rectify the damage caused by such equivocal statements, and please conduct an immediate enquiry and publish its findings and recommendations as to the possibility that Israel is committing the Crime of Genocide.

Yours sincerely,

“Open a criminal investigation against Israel for their war crimes and do not let the murder of over 2000 people go in vain, as well as the silent holocaust that Palestinians are facing since the illegal creation of Israel.”

2 December, 2014

Madame/Sir,

I am writing to you, very disturbed that the UN was created to govern nations of occupying other nations illegally. For 66 years, Israel has committed from single war crimes atrocities to massive massacres since it has been illegally created as a state.

From previous attacks on a civilian population of Palestinians, unarmed, and helpless, from Gaza To The Westbank, Israel has gotten away with acts of war crimes, most recent “Operation Protective Edge”…evidence has been proven the bombing campaign that Israel claimed it did to “defend itself” and destroy tunnels is absurd when UN officials, UNICEF employees and Amnesty have repeatedly told UN that Israel has attacked schools, shelters and hospitals, including arresting and detaining children under the age of 11, wrote reports of the torture and sexual assaults on these children held in Israel prison.

Why isn’t Israel held accountable for breaking these resolutions set forth? Thus far it has repeatedly broken 65 and have not faced repercussions or sancations. Yet any nation that has broken just ONE seems to be held accountable.

We demand an investigation, not only for Israel bombing of Gaza in 2014, but the attacks before. The illegal use of white sulfur on the population of Gaza that many people working with the UN have seen with their own eyes, seen snipers with their own eyes target Palestinians, seen the beating and torture of Palestinians, seen illegal settlers kidnap, beat, kill, run over Palestinians and yet we ask why Palestinians retaliate.

By UN Resolutions, we the Palestinians under illegal occupation have the RIGHT and LAW to resistance occupation.

Asking you again to open a criminal investigation against Israel for their war crimes and do not let the murder of over 2000 people in 2014 in 50 days murders go in vain, as well as the silent holocaust that Palestinians are facing since the illegal creation of Israel.

Thank you.

“If the UN does not investigate these claims then there is a risk that the credibility of the UN will be undermined.”

28/11/2014

Dear sir/madam

If the separate laws for Jews and non-Jews, financing of illegal settlements, displacement of the original occupants, building of walls enclaving a people, demolishing of historical and religious foundations, and the increasing death toll of Palestinian children is not evidence enough of Israel committing genocide, then I don’t know what is. More and more activists, journalists, humanitarian organisations, officials and people in general are beginning to speak up about the atrocities faced by the Palestinian people. If the UN does not investigate these claims then there is a risk that the credibility of the UN will be undermined. So in saying this I strongly suggest that you conduct an enquiry and publish it’s finding and recommendations as to the possibility that Israel is committing the crime of genocide.
