… They’re fine with that. They can use the language of genocide and are not held to account.

There’s this extreme, violent’ and urgent situation that Israel is undertaking. A renewed massacre in Gaza, and god knows what inside 48 and Jerusalem. The other day we saw 2-300 settlers march into Sheikh Jarrah, smashing up houses, smashing up shops, smashing up cars. Just going on an absolute rampage. This has been happening everywhere. It’s not an exaggeration to say that there’s definitely a potentially genocidal situation on our hands.

It’s easy to kill unarmed protesters If you demonize them first. Right? If they’re all terrorists. If they’re all Hamas. Take, for example, the claim from Eli Hazan, foreign affairs spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party, who said, and I quote, “all 30,000″ — all 30,000 Gaza protestors — “all 30,000 are legitimate targets.” Or Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s claim that, “There are no innocent people in Gaza” — 1.9 million people live in Gaza, but according to the defense minister of Israel, none of them are innocent, apparently. That is the language of genocide.
