“On 4 June, Jeremy Corbyn MP introduced a bill into the UK House of Commons calling on the government to establish an independent inquiry into UK involvement in Israeli military operations in Gaza, including the supply of weapons, surveillance aircraft and use of Royal Air Force bases.
At the second reading on 4 July, the government rejected this bill and refused to establish such an inquiry. The public deserves to know the full scale of their government’s complicity in genocide. That is why we are holding The Gaza Tribunal. We will uncover the truth – and we will bring about justice for the Palestinian people.”
