#Normalisation Is Treason: Why artists must side with oppressed Palestinians by Nada Elia

Mansour’s appearance in Jerusalem, and the screening of her feature film there, are all part of culture-washing Israel’s encroachment on the human rights of an entire people, whose women, children and men have no country whatsoever, and are made refugees in their own land, while Mansour enjoys the privileges of a cosmopolitan life.
So long as there are boundaries placed by Israel on an oppressed people – in the form of apartheid, occupation, the denial of the right of return, and a siege bordering on genocide in Gaza – then artists must side with the oppressed, or their art will be used to bolster the oppressor.

No ‘revolution’ without Palestine: A letter to Bernie Sanders by Yoav Litvin

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

Sanders has a unique opportunity to powerfully inspire a real grassroots “political revolution” by confronting his own complicity with Zionist criminality and the bi-partisan consensus on Israel/Palestine. The courage to recognise Israel’s crimes and support Palestinians in their struggle for freedom are morally consistent, left-wing, anti-establishment, anti-imperialist positions, which do not come at the expense of Israelis or Jews. Opposition to ongoing apartheid and genocide in Israel/Palestine and support for peaceful tactics such as BDS are key galvanising themes, which would set Sanders apart from other candidates.

On Armistice Day, Work For And Celebrate Peace (Kevin Zeese and Margaret Flowers, November 2019)

This year, we are in Palestine meeting with activists and learning the history of “The 48” and how the genocide and apartheid continue today. We started in Jaffa yesterday where we met with Omar, a representative of Zochrot.org, which he translated as “the remembering.” Zochrot documents the forced expulsions of Palestinians so that people understand the true history of what happened around the Nakba. They have a Nakba map showing the hundreds of Palestinian villages that were emptied and erased. One of our group leaders said, “Israel is not committing crimes; Israel is the crime.”

By labeling Arabs an ‘existential threat,’ Bibi invokes a terrifying history of ethnic violence by Dahlia Scheindlin

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a bitter struggle to prevent his challenger from establishing a government with support from the Arab-led Joint List party, has again accused Arab party leaders of representing an existential threat to Israel.
… Turning Palestinian-Arab citizens into an existential threat of real destruction is a fabrication at the level of a blood libel. That’s something Jews should understand.

The shared trauma of Palestinian life by Majed Abusalama

Please TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW and send your letter to the UN Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide and the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.

We tell a story everyday to the world about being tired and angry at the injustice and oppression we experience in every detail in our life. Gaza is unlivable for human beings according to all human rights organizations and the UN. We realize this stress in every cell of our individual body and collective bodies as we witness how the world fails to respond to this injustice. Our daily calls to humanity and to any universal power to stop the brutal Israeli collective punishment and genocide in our lands go unanswered. We are helpless in front of the powerful Israeli military machine.
