[Siraj-ul-Haq] said that seven decades have passed but the Kashmir and Palestine issues are not resolved. Indian and Israeli forces are involved in genocide of Kashmiris and Palestinians but international organisations and western powers are constantly silent. “Muslim world is also hesitant to take bold stance and only issuing soft statements on the human rights abuses in the occupied regions.”
Broadcaster: You said Israel was a murderous and genocidal state. Do you stand by your word?
Broadcaster: Do you say it for the Kurds in Turkey?
Boris: Yes, the same for all countries like Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, which violate human rights. These countries must meet international norms. It doesn’t matter how powerful these countries are, regardless of their power, we need to defend the rights of these nations.
In an appeal to Miss Universe contestants who are gathering in Israel for the Miss Universe Pageant, the ruling Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah, today called on the contestants to oppose Israel’s apartheid regime and withdraw from the contest.
…”The State of Israel is an apartheid state at the core. By participating in the forthcoming Miss Universe Beauty Pageant you are actively partaking in a sustained effort of a rogue State, the apartheid State of Israel, to cover its apartheid core by the forthcoming Pageant,” said the appeal, calling on the contestants “not to take part in this regime of oppression, genocide and ethnic cleansing.”

This whole mentality of “get over it”, “move on”, that’s prevalent in so-called “Canada”, and anywhere in the world where there’s indigenous people who want justice. And so for me, you know, it’s the same thing with Palestine. I know that it’s a really tricky circumstance, and there’s people from the other side of the fence that have different views about what’s going on over there, but for me there’s genocidal activity going on, on those people. A senior official with Iran’s UN mission in Geneva has taken the floor of the Human Rights Council to denounce Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip, calling on the world body to take urgent action to stop the regime’s atrocities.
“Over the past seven decades, Palestine has endured countless crimes, including massacre, ethnic cleansing, demographic change, systematic torture and arbitrary killing, in addition to all forms of war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity. It seems as though they have become Israel’s routine practice ever since the onset of its endless occupation [back in 1948],” Seyyed Mohammad Sadatinejad said at the Council’s 48th regular session on Saturday.
As soon as I was out on bail, they filed several other cases against me. They had basically gone through every single protest I had organised in a decade and filed cases for each of them. The UAPA case was about a protest that we had conducted back in 2014 when the Gaza war was going on. We had protested in Nungambakkam, calling for an end to the Palestinian genocide. Speaking in the protest I had said that genocide anywhere that is left unchallenged will lead to genocide in other places. I said that allowing Israel to conduct genocide unpunished will lead to the international community looking the other way if the same happened here.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesman urged the international community to ensure that the crimes against humanity like the massacre of the Bosnian Muslims should not be repeated in Palestine and Kashmir. “Today, as we mark the 26th anniversary of the horrible massacre and ethnic cleansing of the Bosnian Muslims, it reminds us of our collective responsibility to ensure that such horrible crimes against humanity don’t take place in occupied Kashmir and Palestine or elsewhere,” Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said on Twitter.
David Sheen, an Israeli journalist, who wrote about Pindrus’s remarks on Twitter and shared his speech, said: “Like most eliminationist lawmakers, Yitzhak Pindrus doesn’t have a Twitter account, but apparently he has a private account, because he immediately noted that his incitement to genocide all Israelis ‘who contribute to miscegenation’ was reported on that.”
